When we announced that we were moving our Denver store to the old Flesher-Hinton building later this year there was one question we kept hearing.

“What are you going to do with the neon sign?”

We’ve heard you, and we want to save it. The sign is an iconic part of Tennyson St. and North Denver in general. Signs like this are simply not getting built anymore.  As the neighborhood continues to change, we feel very strongly that it is important that we preserve the tiny parts that give the street it’s identity. Flesher-Hinton was on Tennyson for over 50 years, and we want to bring the neon sign along with us for the next 50.

As we rebuild the sign we plan to maintain the historic aesthetic, color and design while updating the branding and modernizing the electronics. Estimates to renew the sign have ranged from $15,000 – $20,000.

We need your help to make this happen, and we’re offering unique perks for your support.

With a contribution of $300 to our Indiegogo campaign, we’re offering you a 20% in-store lifetime discount at FERAL, and personalized recognition on a special plaque in the shop. You will forever be known as one of the individuals that helped preserve one of the neigborhood’s most historic and recognizable features.

We’re looking for 50 individuals to contribute to the rebuild of the sign. Good news, we’re at 18 already! But we’ve only got 11 days left to find 32 more people that want to see the sign live on.

We’re excited to breath life back into one of the most recognizable buildings on the block, and we can’t wait to see the glow of the neon sign lighting the way on Tennyson St. again!

Thank you for all of the support!
